I edited this video for Time.com. I also snuck in a few shots I picked up myself on the way in to work one morning.Before cutting this video, I had noticed the bike lanes but not realized how much they were part of a systemic effort to change the streets of NY city. It’s kind of amazing, and very welcome.

This except shows a couple of tearful re-unions when adoptees are put into contact with their parents in their home countries by the filmmakers.

The wrap up for 4 characters from Hard Time “Getting Out”. I like getting to make a solid ending for a show and I think this one qualifies.
Gamechanger – Hugh Herr
This is a video I cut for Time.com. It’s an interesting little vignette about a guy who’s been working on artificial limbs for many years, and recently has brought a highly computerized variant to market. I did the dialog edit (from the full interview), picked music, pulled stills and put it all together. A fun project for a few days!
Hard Time: Meet Adrian English
Hard Time was an interesting series to work on. This section, from episode 2 of the first season, is where we meet Adrian English, a character who we worked hard to present in an ambivalent manner. Editing this material, I used some fairly wacky effects for a documentary, but we wanted to get to his sense of isolation within a crowd.
